The theme for this year's photo and essay contest is “Love Stories.”

Please share yours. If you've fallen in love (or back in love) with anyone, anything, or any place while on a WorldMark vacation—your photo and/or essay about the experience qualifies, with one exception: No sunsets. We have hundreds of them. Also make certain that all your photo and essay entries pertain to a WorldMark or exchange vacation taken between the years 2000 and 2007.

By entering the contest, you agree to free and unlimited use of your photograph and/or essay by WorldMark by Wyndham, including publication in future issues of Destinations. Winning entries will appear in its December 2007 issue—our most popular issue of each year. See our rules and prizes below:

All entries must have been taken on a WorldMark or exchange vacation between the years 2000 and 2007. Photo must be a candid photograph and at least 4" by 6" in size. Only one print or slide (slide must be accompanied by a print of the image) per owner number may be submitted. Digital images must be high resolution (at least 300 dpi), and files on CD or floppy disk must be included with a printout. Sorry, we cannot accept images electronically via e-mail.

Please label your submission with your name, owner number, address, phone numbers, e-mail address (if applicable), the name of the WorldMark or exchange resort you were visiting, and the year the photo was taken.

All essays must be a “love story” experienced on a WorldMark or exchange vacation taken between the years 2000 and 2007. Entries must be typed on a word processor, double-spaced, and contain no more than 500 words. Only one essay per owner number may be submitted. Sorry, we cannot accept essays electronically via e-mail. Please label each page with your name, owner number, address, phone number, e-mail address (if applicable), the name of the WorldMark or exchange resort you were visiting, and the year the vacation took place (this info should not be included in your word count).

• First Place, Photo and Essay:
  10,000 non-renewable WorldMark vacation credits good for one year, each to winning photographer and writer.
• Second Place, Photo and Essay:
  5,000 non-renewable WorldMark vacation credits good for one year, each to winning photographer and writer.
• Third Place, Photo and Essay:
  2,500 non-renewable WorldMark vacation credits good for one year, each to winning photographer and writer.
• Honorable Mentions:
  $50 USD gift cards to three photographers and three writers.
